Controlling Nervousness
 Take several deep breaths before going up to speak: Breath in through your nose and our through your mouth.
 Dress in comfortable clothes- psychologically important to feel confident
 Practice positive self-talk-"I'm nervous, but I can do this"
 Be well prepared
 Concentrate on message
 Picture yourself doing well
 Speaking early on helps so you don't have to sit and fell anxious
 Take several deep breaths
 Remember they are just people
 If possible move around; moving releases energy
 Pick out friendly faces to have eye contact with
 Give yourself a reward afterwards
